For those curious, this hotel is not related to Savoy in London. A nice boutique hotel. Close to the river Shannon, John's castle and St John's Cathedral.

The hotel seems very upscale and modern. Yet in our room, paint was peeling and the balcony door was wedged shut - leaving an overall perception that it need to be updated/refreshed.
