An excelent choice in Koh Samui”

We loved staying at the white cottage. It is an excellent choice for the island because compared to the other housing options it offers a very good quality for an acceptable price. It is close enough to Chaweng (the main island attractions area) but far enough to be quiet and relaxing. It is also walking distance from the fisherman's village and all of the necessary utilities such as restaurants, 7-eleven, taxis, etc. Probably the stand out of our stay, was the staff. They were extremely nice and helpful concerning all aspects and getting all that you may need during your trip such as touristic attractions, scooter rentals, and so on.

Place looks like the photos, if not better. We stayed in a family room for 4, big kids 17 & 14, yet each ve own little space. Love cottage surrounding, nice & cleanly kept, quiet except cats meowing early morning which we’re fine. “Jeep” rented is more like pickup, requires season driver who can operate manual & ok with no power steering. Familymart a short walk out to main road, most eateries are nearer towards fisherman village which is about 15-20mins walk. Staffs are very friendly & helpful. Simple yummy nicely presented breakfast. Able to cut through other guesthouse & see the beach but not suitable for swim or walk. Can ve better pillows, but for the price paid is acceptable :)

We have spent a lovely week at the White Cottage! The place is very nice and clean with great oriental design and swimming pool! The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful and certainly know what the hospitality business is really about. Highly recommended!

spacious, clean, and comfy”

I stayed during the start of the monsoon season for a week, so there were times where I felt I was the only occupant in the area. the area was very quiet. the beach is a good 5 minutes away. there is a convenience store and very local restraunt once you walk into the main road (5 min walk distance). the cottage was spacious and very clean, same goes for the bathroom. their laundry service is a bit on the expensive side but they return you very clean smelling clothes. I never tried their breakfast (which they provide all day). the bed provides mosquito nets. the aircon worked well. they provided beach towels in addition to shower towels. overall, great service. not as fancy as all the other hotels/resorts around the area - but for how cheap this place was, it was definitely well worth it. would return again.

Nice intimate place”

The White Cottage has the feeling of a small intimate place. It's very quite and you get to know quickly all the guests as it's a rather small place and they all tend to get together around the pool. The setup is very beautiful and we really enjoyed our chill outs aroud the pool or on our terrase. However, we've traveled with small kids who tend to be loud and we feld embaresed by that; I thing the place is more suitable for older children. The cons: - the pool is not cleaned well and is very clorinated. You smell really bad when you go out of it. - the room lacks good cleaning. We stayed or 3 days and the cleaning ladies never used a mop to clean the floor. They seamed to clean very superficial. - there were sooo many moskitos outside and in the bathroom and it was hard to keep them out of the room. We were saved during sleep by the courtains above the bed. You have to be very fast when using the bathroom or you might end up with many bights. - the bathroom smells very bad.

Spectacular!”

Fantastic! We had left our previous “5 star” resort to come here, and found this mini-resortel MUCH better! The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a respect and so much care! We have the receptionist, and all-rounder, Ms. O for the wonderful care and hospitality. She took care of us from the moment we arrived, to the sad moment when we departed. She made us feel like family, which gave us a a sweet comfort feeling whenever we came back to our villas to relax. We, also, met the owner, who was also very kind, understanding and cooperative. Sadly, we did not get the chance to spend much time with him, but hopefully on our next trip back when we stay here again, we will get a drink or 2 with him ☺️👌🏽. I truly recommend staying here, and you will NOT be disappointed! If you have a large group, you might get a heck of a deal for majority of the villas here and pretty much have the whole place to yourselves - the price is also great!

Quiet, clean and close to beach”

Pros: location close to beach and walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, clean with immaculate pool if too lazy to walk to the beach, stylish rooms with fast wifi, fridge, TV and safe deposit box, very helpful staff and owner. Cons... Tad more attention to maintenance would turn this great place into perfect. During my stay I experienced a shower failure, ac would turn on but not off... and there were couple burned out bulbs in the room. Some of this could have been avoided by a tad more thorough checkups prior to check ins. None of this was a real issue as I was moved immediately to a fully functional room.

Lovely room, lovely place, lovely staff”

This is a lovely little collection of bungalows centred around a small but beautiful pool. The rooms are huge, light and really comfortable and the location is great, a 2 minute walk to the beach in one direction and a 2 minute walk to the main road for shops or taxi's in the other. The staff are great to, really friendly and helpful and happy to chat and give help and advice. One issue is the food options are limited to breakfast only so you need to head out of the resort for lunch and dinner but this is also a good thing as it ensures the property is lovely and quiet in the evenings and helps keep a relaxed chilled out vibe which I prefer .

Lovely Staff”

The staff made this experience what it was as they were very helpful and attentive. You can use the facilities at the beachfront hotel next door at a cost although if you don't highlight you're not from there no one asks you to pay. The room are quite small as is the pool however the decor and style of the rooms are very nice.

Warm & Comfort”

An absolutely wonderful time here with great staff, wonderful clean & comfy big rooms with ACTUAL hot water! You will be treated with much respect and care, and that’s not what you could say for even most of the 5 star resorts in Thailand! We left a 5 star resort for this place, and couldn’t be happier.

Cute place for a quiet getaway”

Nice rooms- large bed with lovely bedding, lots of space. Clean bathroom, think a rain shower or the like would be a nice addition as shower did spray across most of bathroom. Staff friendly. Little bar area to sit out by small pool. Great juices/shakes. Good access to beach.

Was a good location close to the beach. The pool was nice to have and we were able to use it at night. Family mart is at the main road and is a 2 minute walk.
