"In short, the hotel was great with a clean and nicely decor room and great complimentary breakfast. When we decided ,last minute, to stay another night at Ayutthaya, it was a no brainer that this hotel would be the choice of stay. One point to note: bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste! "Stockhome hostel is by far one of the best hostels I have stayed in since being in thailand. The owner-Poon- is super friendly and unbeleivabley helpful and speaks good English, and made me feel very welcome as a guest. The rooms and the hostel on a whole is extremely clean and tidy which is the main thing I look for in hostel accommodation and this exceeded my expectations and ridiculously high standards. The beds are the most comfortable i have stayed in (both mattress and pillow) and are quite big/ larger than your average single bed which is brilliant. The atmosphere in the hostel was also great, very sociable and the social areas too are of a high standard. There is a cafe right next to the hostel also which serves delicious food and drinks and the staff there too are equally as wonderful. If I ever do come back to ayutthaya this would most definately be the only place I would wabt to stay. I have nothing but positive feedback for this hostel and just wish more places were as impressive as this."

"Not only are the owners and staff incredibly sweet and helpful, the location can't be beat - right next to ruins and central to everywhere there is to go in ayutthaya. The bungalows are so gorgeous and spacious. New A/C equipment, lovely little pond and decks all facing each other yet still nice and private. We found it hard to leave, to be honest. The cleanliness of the rooms are some of the best we've encountered and bicycle rental is a great option as you can get around to all the ruins in about a day with them. Best noodles in town are just around the corner at Lung Lek! Seriously, stay here. It's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city."

"I must say it's lovely, clean and quiet place. Very well located, super close to Ayutthaya Historical Park and all the most important temples. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is so-so, I mean, there's only toasts and coffee available, but still ok. Oh, and it's super close to Night Market. Highly recommended if you plan visit Ayutthaya overnight!"
