"Stayed here on two separate occasions, and both times I had an adequately good stay! Rooms were tidy, nice beds, maybe hard for some. Washroom is good, but there is a lack of hanging or shelfs for clothes, just throw over the door! Lobby has a communal area, coffee and drinks, a pool table, tv... great little social gathering area and nice decor but a bit dark. Book shelf with plenty of books about Thailand The area: Okay you are in the heart of Sukhumvit (red-light district) there are plenty of normal bars, naughty bars if that's your thang, street food vendors, bars with food, massage parlours (professional & not-so professional) you can easily choose which, as the not-so will have lady boys outside trying to look sexy (not pulling it off very well) and grabbing your hand mister and saying 'massage' whilst holding you firmly...they are quite strong hahaa! Location: Down a dead end alley (Soi: side street) a few minutes walk from Nana BTS, (also close to Asoke to transfer to airport) and Phloen Chit, even though you are in a lively area the Hostel is quiet as it's tucked away from the loud bars, but is still a safe area, plenty of people always around. You are a few stops from Siam where the upscale shopping malls are, also MBK Center is there which has electronics and market stalls throughout and a food terrace. Airport: this is a good location for starting and finishing your travels if you are flying out of Bangkok international airport. Take the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit line (light green) from Nana (one stop to Asoke) heading towards Bearing station change for the MRT line (light blue) you'll have to walk to Sukhumvit station, but it's literally on top of one another. From there take the train that heads to Bang Sue one stop to Phetchburi, change to the Makkasan station again a short walk. From there you can catch either the Airport Rail Link Express or City line (red or dark blue) to Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok) airport."

"I've been in Thailand particularly Bangkok many times. 3howw is one of my favorite hostels. Whenever I come to Bangkok. I always stay in this place. This place is very accessible and easy to find. The location is perfect. Their rooms are very clean. The staffs are always helpful. Although, I was a bit surprised with some changes in their building and new staff. They are still accommodating and friendly. Moreover, I am more familiar with 3howw and i will come back again. "

"Feel Good is tucked a short way down a very quiet (and safe) alley just off the main road into Bangkok. The whole place was super clean and the facilities were really good. Free tea and coffee, plus free bread, butter and jam for breakfast - all self service, including a microwave for cooking meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and made every effort to make sure we were happy. The laundry service - whilst a little pricey at 150 baht - was very convenient and you get a relatively generous wash load which is also dried and left in a basket on our bed while we were out. You can get the number 79 bus straight here from the Southern Bus Terminal and walk into the main city in less than 30 minutes. The dorm room was super quiet with only 8 beds, and everybody was very respectful. Best hostel experience I’ve ever had. 4 stars for facilities only because the lovely shower rooms had nowhere to change without getting your clothes wet, and giant uncovered windows to the outside world felt a little exposed. Otherwise, very happy, thank you!"

"My friend and I visited the Matchbox Bangkok Hostel several weeks ago for a 5 night stay. Our booking was rather last minute, but I felt that this would be an acceptable place to stay based on how the small time frame I had to compare options. I was blown away by the quality of this place. It is the perfect place for any travelers who are excited to explore Bangkok, but also have a very comfortable place to stay with clean/modern bathrooms. The price we paid felt like a bargain for what we got. We even convinced 3 other friends to move from their previously booked hotel to the Matchbox after they had a rough night and they shared similar praise. All of the staff made us feel extremely welcome, altogether rounding out a great trip to Bangkok. Would recommend to anyone!"

"Don't let the less review stop you from booking this place. Its one of the best hostel we ever stayed at. Its BRAND NEW!! Everything was perfect, the room was clean the, bed was very comfy, the wifi was good, and the staff made this whole place even better. They always greet you, very nice, always smiling, and SUPER HELPFUL. The breakfast was good very simple: cereal , juice, milk, coffee, fruits, and sweets. But it was good! They have a laundry machine on top of the rooftop which is very nice you can chill and hang out up there while you wait for your clothes. OVERALL AGAIN it was one of the best stayed we ever had. Would totally recommend all of you to book it. The location is not that bad its close to the river, but a little bit out of the craziness of Bangkok. The price is REALLY GOOD!!!"

"-the hostel is about 8min walk from Ratchathewi station (Exit3) You can take the motorbike taxis to the station which costs about 20-30baht -close to conbini, a lot street food+restaurants - the staffs are so nice esp P'Ree, the one who is responsible for making breakfast. - the price is sooooo cheap and its included breakfast <3 - the breakfast is so nice. There are rice with 2 side dishes or someday fried rice, noodle, bread and banana + hot coffee/ hot cocoa. The taste of breakfast is delicious. - the room is clean and not so small. There are big lockers inside the room which its fit for 25-28inch-luggage. At the bed, it also has a small locker. Anyway they dont provide the lockers, you need to bring them by urself. - There are 3 toilets and 3 showers in a room for male and for female (= 2 big rooms) , provided hair dryer :) -id definitely stay here again when i come to Bangkok. "We arrived Bangkok by bus from Cambodia. The hostel was a 3-minute walk from the bus stop so it was convenient. 7/11 was very near but you wouldn't really need it because there are free snacks and beverages all day long. The room was lovely! We had a pleasant 4-night stay at the Moonnight. It was a bit difficult to find at first since it's in an alley but small price to pay for a lovely hostel. Khao San road (where tourists usually go) is a 5-minute walk. NOT BAD!!! Highly recommended for those who want to be in the middle of where the magic happens but still want a quiet night's sleep."
