"This is by far the best Hotel in Siem Reap. This hotel is amazing compared to the surrounding city and area. The Vietnemese president was staying there at the time so service was extra special. We got a free upgrade which was even better.Breakfast is great and the pool is definitely a plus. This is the perfect place to relax after a long say at Angkorwat. Pub Street is the main area in the city which has great food and is very cheap. Also recommend going to the floating village but be careful as they will charge you a fortune to get out there and then 20 dollars to drive out. I recommend going with a tour. Very happy iwht this hotel."

"The staff was absolutely helpful, attentive and kind! The rooms were beautiful. The resort is a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to town but was no problem because the ride there was free and only $2-3 back. Just come down to the lobby and there's a ride for you within 2 minutes. The pool was so beautiful and clean. I would suggest this resort to anybody! Thank you to Tanei for making our stay in Siem reap so enjoyable! "

"The entire facility - lobby, bar, my room, pool and grounds - was immaculate. By far the best hotel I stayed in during a six-week trip around India and Southeast Asia. An outstanding staff of mosly younger people who are helpful, polite, cheerful and extremely friendly. "Downtown" Siem Reap is about a 15-minute walk, with lots to look at during the stroll. I extended my stay in Siem Reap because I enjoyed the hotel, the temples and the smallish, fun city so much. "

"There are so many hotels in Siem Reap to choose from but for the price I think this hotel offers real value for money. It's the location which is the real appeal as you are about 5 mins walk away from Pub Street but still far enough away so that you don't get disturbed by outside noise. The hotel is part of one big block where at the front (near the main road) is the older Somadevi resort and at the back you have the two hotels Somadevi Residence and the Somadevi Angkor Boutique & Resort. Hence, as this hotel is at the back away from the main road (shopping street) it is a bit quieter. However, the hotel is in Siem Reap central so don't expect big grounds as it's part of a main block and so surrounded by shops. If you want something big and secluded there are plenty of these types of hotels on the highway (airport to Siem Reap) but then to get around you will constantly need a Tuk Tuk. I would recommend sacrificing on the star rating for location unless you plan to spend a lot of tme at the hotel. This hotel was perfect for our needs as we prefer to walk around. Service The staff are extremely friendly and polite. You are greeted with a smile and nice touches such as opening doors and generally asking you how your stay is, anything you need, etc. It's a very clean hotel and no complaints with the room service/cleaners. The shuttle service to and from the airport is a proper car and not a Tuk Tuk. Room Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Free WiFi in the room. Quite a big room with plenty of space. The shower had very little pressure but it doesn't matter because you can switch to the rain shower which is much better and then pressure is not an issue. Bathroom is very big, modern and clean. There was a private balcony but we didn't use this. It's a city hotel so don't expect great views. Food Only had breakfact once which was very good but other than that can't really comment. "Other than the location, service provided by the staff is very important to me. Tanei Boutique Villa excel in both and for me, their service is exceptional. It is conveniently located near Siem Reap Night market and Giant Ibis Bus Office. The staffs always go to the extra mile to ensure our needs are being catered for. We arrived in Siem Reap about 5am in the morning and they have arranged a free tuk tuk pick up and early check in for us. On our last day, we have already checked out of the hotel at 12nn and our night departure bus to Phnom Penh was at 11pm. We were able to place our luggage at the lobby while we went out to explore. They even offer us to use one of the rooms to shower and arranged tuk tuk to send us to Giant Ibis Bus Office without additional charges. The experience I have with them is incredible and without a doubt, if I am returning to Siem Reap, Tanei Boutique Villa will be my first choice. Shout out to Mr Lao and your staffs, please keep up this excellent job! "

"I had a very fantastic impression during my stay at Memoire Place Resort & Spa! They had offered free upgrade to the room with pool view. The hotel room is great, nice, clean and comfortable and I do love the room decoration that I never ever seen before. The staffs were very helpful and they pay attention since the beginning till the end of my stay. The breakfast was very awesome. Especially, the pool so huge and beautiful which was good for me to lay down during the day time by enjoying cocktail at the pool bar. It’s unbelievable that I had stayed in the best service hotel in Siem Reap. I will stay with them again in the near future. This is completely 5 stars service hotel for me. "

"Diamond D’ Angkor offers an exceptional level of hospitality and utmost comfort. The hotel offers complementary airport transfer which is very much welcomed. Centrally located, the hotel is 15mins drive from the airport and 10mins walk from the famous Pub Street. Upon reaching the hotel, the beautiful decor and spacious lobby will make you feel right at home. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Some rooms are also pool facing. The greatest joy from staying here will be the service. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. They can help you plan your days in Cambodia and Angkor Wat. We would like to especially commend Mr John and Mr Len for their warmth and amazing service. They really make us feel welcomed throughout our stay in Siem Reap. "My husband and I recently stayed at J7 while in Siem Reap for our honeymoon. We had been, dare I say mislead by some hotel pictures in the past early on in our trip with hotels in Thailand so we weren’t sure what we were getting. J7 not only lives up to their stunning photos but it’s actually better! The hotel is beautiful with well appointed rooms, great restaurants, beautiful pool but the real stand out element is the staff! Every employee we encountered went above and beyond to provide the most stellar customer service! I can’t say enough good things about our experience! We absolutely loved our tuktuk driver Mr. Surat, if you can ask for him by name. He’s absolutely lovely and charges fair prices.
