“Amazing gym but no pool”
The hotels feels very modern and brand new. The room is very small but ok for a solo traveller like myself. The best thing about the hotel is that they have the most amazing gym and fitness facilities. All the equipment was state of the art. They also have washer dryers you can pay to use which I liked as I prefer to do my own laundry. On the downside, I was gutted the pool was out of action for seasonal reasons for 3-4 months. I feel the hotel should consider reviewing this. I stayed in Dec and I know it’s considered the winter in HK but the daytime temperature was still 18-19c and more than comfortable for using the pool. It’s such a waste of a beautiful pool. The location is not the best if I’m honest. It’s easy to get to and from the airport but if you need to go into town or HK island then it’s a bit of a journey (30-40 mins) by metro (MTR). I’d highly recommend this hotel if you are a solo traveller and into fitness. But if you’re a couple, you might need to reconsider as the small double beds are v small.
