The best thing about this hotel is the free breakfast for every room. Though you still need to confirm if you want it on the tv in your room. The breakfast have all sorts of food from western to asian and japanese food. And it's all very delicious. The room is nice, clean and tidy, have luggage stand, and have many amenities. The check in and check out were easy with self service machine, and you can also store luggage here for free, helped by the very nice staffs. The location is near the Odawara station and also Odawara castle. So it's pretty strategic. There's also Lawson nearby if you ever need anything and a lot of stores around the area.

Hotel is clean and the room is very spacious for the price you paid. Comes with good breakfast buffet! The staffs are friendly except for those at the reception. Doesnt feel welcoming at all compared to the other hotels I’ve been to in Japan from budget to 5 stars. Even requested help from them to use their phone to contact a tour service to change our booking as we couldn’t speak Japanese and the receptionist was reluctant to assist and just handed the phone……… another hotel helped me instead!

Hotel is super convenient as its near the Odawara train station. Hotel room is spacious and clean with amenities. Free breakfast is available and has a variety. Tastes delicious except for some of the buns. Staffs at the counter doesn’t feel genuinely friendly. As we can’t really speak Japanese, we tried to get their help to assist us with contacting and speaking to the bus company to change our reservations. However, they didn’t want to help at first but in the end they just gave us the phone and let us speak to the company ourselves. The other hotel staffs like cleaners, kitchen staffs, etc are very polite! Just the ones at the counter just feels like they are just there for the job. Anyway its still a decent hotel.

“Quite clean, but strong cigarette smell”
I booked a smoking room, and that was honestly my mistake. But depending from hotel to hotel, sometimes room will only have a slight smell, and that's it. Unfortunately that was not the case. The second I opened the door, I coughed and had to open the window. It felt like the every inch in the air is filled with intense tabacco oils, and not in a good way. I ended up having troubles sleeping, waking up from time to time because if the smell. It's not the hotel'a fault that I booked that room, but I did not expect it to be that bad. The room size is decent, and its clean, has its own bath tube and toilet. If not that smell, it would be a good place, so I will try booking another room next time. I also was surprised about compliments to the breakfast all over the internet, to me the breakfast looked a bit sad, one fish, one chicken with something, one salad, number of side dishes, japanese omlet as the only type of egg, veey sad pasta (pasta with some tomato sauce). I saw coffew but couldn't find milk. Some plates vere empty, e.g. I saw the promising "croissants" note, but no croissants were on the plate. Overall its okay, the hotel positions the breakfast as "it's free" (meaning its included in the price and probably cannot be removed). The location is great! Close to the station, etc. Staff is very good, and the checkin is half automatic, which is great. I was kinda anxious as a solo traveler to see the plate about locking the door after 10 p.m. inside my room, but was able to sleep well anyway. Overall, a spot to stay a couple of nights if needed, close to the beach and the station, convenient and trying hard to implement some eco practice, kudos for that too!
