Overall very good Advantages: it is a cultural heritage building. The rooms are quite spacious. The location is very strategic. There are plenty of food options, close to the Genteng street for souvenir shops (especially from the back street, you can walk just 2-5 minutes). The food is quite varied, buffet style. Main course with 3 carbohydrate options (white rice, fried rice, noodles) with 2 side dishes and 1 vegetable, side dishes like gado-gado or pecal, sweet porridge, soup, 2 types of sliced fruits, milk and cereal, tea and coffee, as well as pudding. Compared to the price during the stay, it's a great deal and very cheap. The hotel is very clean, always fragrant, and the staff are very nice, friendly, and attentive. Luggage storage in the lobby during checkout is also safe because it is monitored and not mixed up with other guests due to the tags. The bed is very comfortable, with no loose or poking springs. Complete condiments. There is a nice and clean prayer room on the second floor. Disadvantages: Maybe because it is an old building, there are some shortcomings but still understandable. The towels could probably be replaced with new ones as the color has yellowed and there are many thread fibers hanging. However, they are still usable. Perhaps the most notable issue is that the bathroom floor does not dry immediately. The water tends to pool, which is uncomfortable. And it is less comfortable because the position of the toilet and shower is on the same floor level without a partition. The hot water is not very effective, and the shower leaks at the handle. The sink also takes a while to drain, which gives the impression of being less clean. So the solution ends up being to request the room to be cleaned every day. But it is still uncomfortable for the bathroom, or maybe we were just unlucky to get that room.

Honestly, it's gambling for me to choose this hotel then other hotel near here 😄😄 because the price is moooooore cheapest in varna hotel, so i choose this hotel to stay. But when we arrived, and check in the room are veeeery comfort, clean, and i think its cozy to stay here. Because this location in center of Tunjungan street 😍 many many store to sell all food here. Like coffee shop, gelato, resto etc. Very recomended! Nice hotel and facilities are good too 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 if i come to surabaya, i promise to stay here again 🤩

Stayed during a weekend and what a busy area flooded with shoppers and tourists. And they had street parades on that sunday. Room was cosy and clean. Breakfast spread not a lot but includes nasgor, bubur madura and bread/butter, spaghetti with salad. Within walking distance to Tunjungan Plaza. In-house laundry service available but going by pieces. Rather google for nearby laundry service that offers competitive rates in kilos.

The hotel rooms are also quite spacious and clean. The first impression upon entering the room is that it smells good. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. When I needed a box for souvenirs, the staff kindly provided me with a box and plastic ties. The downside of the room I received was the view from the window of a utility pole and nearby houses. Additionally, when I made the reservation, I requested a double bed, but I received two twin beds pushed together. This shortcoming was not an issue for me as I was staying alone and spent most of my time outside the hotel. I stayed during the weekdays in a superior room for Rp266,000. With all the facilities and a very strategic location, this hotel is definitely worth trying as it is equal to or even exceeds the value of the money paid.
