Booked a room 4 months ago. They immediately took over $1000 for a deposit to hold that room. We had bought airline tkts and planned on staying there. We get a call 4 months later saying they can not rent the unit to us. Four months later they do this!!!! They said we can spend more money to stay in a room ocean front!!!! We shouldnt have to spend more, due to their poor service, and cancelling/ "inconveniencing us!!!" We are gonna say if tou stay there, Do NOT use "Destination Resident's" to book the room. Very poor service! Your better off using VRBO, website's!

Location was great, private beach access for few nearby resorts, including this one. It is a condo type setting where they provide you with beach chairs, ice boxes, bbq grill, cutlery, and all other utensils you can think of. Weather on this side is typically partly cloudy from what we observed. It rains less than some other parts of the island (it rains most in Hana). There are no restaurants on property, but multiple within 2-15 min drive. It has free parking, Gym, and pool.
We stayed at the Wailea Elua Village for 6 nights. It's great. Our unit was 1511 that was very big and clean. We booked for the garden views but when we are at the balcony, we can sgee the ocean too.
