I had a very comfortable stay here. When I checked in, I was given a map of the area and an explanation about all the interesting spots nearby - without even having to ask them for it. The location is 10 minutes away from the most famous night market, and only 1 minute away there's a smaller market which was also very nice. If you want to go to Taroko, you can easily take a bus to Hualien station, then another bus from there. Just ask the staff and they will help you :)

The hostel is near to the bus stop and the latest Duncan sculpture just right in front of the hostel. The staff is friendly and helpful. She provided a map marked with lots of food and attractions. She also recommended me what to eat at the night market. They provided free drinks and local snacks like 乖乖 and 科學麵. The common area is like a cafe. I would come back again if I visit Hualien again!

Great bed, but noisy”

This hostel is in a good spot not too close to all the Tourism in Hualien but walking distance to the ocean and the several market streets nearby. There's even a delicious inexpensive pork bun place just down the street. There is space directly outside to park a bicycle or scooter. The bed has alot of shelf space to put items on and the sliding locker that takes up the foot half of the bedside is a great design in theory, but because it is made of thin wood, it carries noise. I was able to hear anything done in the surrounding beds, whether it was moving in bed or placing something on the shelf, quite loudly from all sides due to the wood. With some inexpensive earplugs though, this would be the perfect place to stay.

Homey feel ”

Pros: centre of the town, close to Dongdamen Night Market. Free bikes and escooter for use. Short bike ride to the beach (less than 10 mins) staff was super friendly and helpful, enjoyed chatting with them. Travellors were also friendly, international and local. Cons: have to take a bus or taxi to get to the train station, but it's not too far just may be difficult with luggage.

Clean and spacious, provided all information requested and I like the location within walking distance to night market. it's quite a distance from bus station either you can take local bus from hualien train station or take.use bicycle for free.

This is one of the better hostels I've stayed at in last three months of cycle touring through Asia. I need a quiet place to do some work and this was perfect. Its conveniently located and everything is clean and comfortable.

I had an amazing experience staying here. The dorm beds are bigger and more spacious than most other dorms. Each of the beds also have adjacent cupboards and locking facilities. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She also has a good sense of humour. The hostel is clean beyond expectations. I highly recommend this place!

周囲に美味しいお店や買物スポットが豊富。バス停も目の前。建物は新しくて頑強（安全）。1F〜3F全フロア綺麗に掃除が行き届いていました。スタッフは親切でスマート。私の予約ミスにも笑顔で対応してくれましたありがとう。洗濯機は無料。乾燥機は近くのコインランドリーを使いました（パワフルに乾燥できるから）。自転車も無料。カーテンがレールに布を通したスタイルで、開け閉めする時、音がせず同室の人の迷惑にならない。ベッドも作り付けなのでギシギシ音がすることがない。ドアの貼紙に「ドアはそっと閉めてね（中文）」と貼紙があったり、部屋の外に耳栓が10元で売ってたりetc. さりげない行き届いた気配りがあちらこちらにあって感心した。
