    Wonderful Stay ”

Our family consisting of 4 adults and 4 kids stayed in Caramoan for our Summer get-away last April 30 to May 2. We booked 2 standard rooms at West Peninsula Villas. Contacted the resort via their FB page for some directions. They were prompt and accommodating in replying to all our inquiries. The staff also arranged our 1 and 1/2 days island hopping activities and our transportation around the area. The resort has a pool and is near the town center where some ATM machines, local eateries and convenience stores are located. The accommodation includes free breakfast. Toothpaste, soap and shampoo and clean towels and beddings were also provided. Was able to try their sisig and it was yummy. Food choices in their menu was limited but affordable. Hopefully next time, they will offer more seafood options and alcoholic drinks aside from beer :) Hopefully the resort will be able to improve and the pond near the parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the resort.

    2nd time around”

it was our second time to visit caramoan. i was wonderig where we coud stay for a day cause me and my wife only had 2days worth of days off. i tried mentioning different hotels that we could stay in. but she wanted the same place where we stayed last april of 2017 so i booked a room here at Agoda. was surprise when we arrived around 8am that we were kindly enough allowed to check in early.(mind you we weren't charge extra for there hospitality) so we ate our free breakfast which was included in the P1520 fee. by 9:45am me and my wife headed off towards the port for some island hopping. it was a fast reply from the supervisor at the time to contact our boatmen even though yesterday 3/24/2018. southern luzon was experiencing the tail end of a cold front..so due to strong winds it was difficult to find a motorboat for the island hopping.but their staff was very accomodating and fix a tril for us there and then. so by 10am were on the boat. stayed till 1pm cause it was already gloomy and my lady was telling me it was cold. so i paid P1500 for the boat trip. P300 fpr the tricyle who had fetch us back and forth to the hotel and port. i was happy about the room we stayed in. for P1520 it was awesome and way bigger than i expected. the last time we visited, the room was fr P1200 and it was a meh kinda room okish but doable. this time around just by addig P320..i got a mini living room, mini dining room and a mini kitchen/cooking area with stock cabinets and it was fully furnish. and the bed.as expected.i sleep for 9hrs till the day came we had to leave. the airconditioning unit was much appreciated cuse the 1st time we stayed the AC was weak.this time we had a proper AC. the bathroom was fine.tiled and had a large sink and a big mirror. had a hot shower and after enjoyed some movies.it wasn't the cable tv that were use to but it's doable besides we went to Caramoan for the beach and islands not for cable tv. food was OKish. i miss the yellow fin tu

They have the nicest and kindest staff in Caramoan. Room is different from their photo- but in a good way. Our room is spacious, has cable tv, and aircon. The bed is reaally spacious it can occupy 4 people (but the photo here in agoda shows a small room with double bed). The bathroom is newly renovated, very clean and has hot and cold shower. We also have a small balcony outside. The restaurant offers wide variety of delicious HUGE serving dishes. Every dish can feed 3-4 people in very affordable price. This hotel is highly recommended.

    A Good Place in Caramoan”

We find it really affordable as the price included breakfast already. There's a typhoon the week prior so there was an ongoing renovation - was a bit frustrated with how the place looked because it was not like how it did in the pictures, but I also guess its because we came during a bad time. We checked in early, our villa had not been cleaned yet and there were a lot of mosquitoes with our room being beside a flooded area. The place has a nice pool but we're not able to use it since we left early for the island hopping and were too tired to take a dip at night. It is ~30 min trike ride from Paniman beach where our rented boat docks so we had to pay 300 total to and fro the villa. But what I liked about it is that they have good food ready even when it's off peak in Caramoan. We had grilled squid and fried eggplant which they packed nicely for our lunch and steamed crabs for dinner which also tasted fresh. Lastly, the staff are extremely nice and accommodating. Yes, its good value!

    value for money resort”

good food with reasonable prices, clean and working facilities

The owner was accommodating and reasonable, he allowed us to credit our one night to the food we consumed since the storm prevented us from going to West Pen on the scheduled date. The staff are pleasant and courteous. Food was reasonably priced and tasted great! There was only a lack of fish viands at that time but most likely this is due to the storm. They had contacts for the beach hopping tours which was also reasonably priced. Overall, we would stay at West Pen again.

We enjoyed every minute of it. The villa is very cozy. It is nice that it is somehow tucked in a quiet location. The staff are very accommodating. Cute little bar. Average stay”

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, i guess this is the only hotel in caramoan that has a pool (not sure). We booked 2 rooms for 8 adults, but rooms are small. We were asked to move to anothe room because there was some issue with the doorknob. We cannot get it. We then move to another room but there is a bad smell coming from the washroom. Since there was no other available room they just put a spray in the washroom. Pool is fine, my son enjoyed it. Food is average. Centrally located in the heart of caramoan but far from the beach.

Our stay was very comfortable. Room was cozy with free wi-fi connection and cable TV. The staff were friendly and even served our dinner even it was passed the cut-off time. They also arranged out island hopping with a reasonable price. One thing that I didn't like was the food. It was all salty, atleast to my taste. Over-all stay was great!

    Caramoan Short Trip (2 nites)”

Hotel Staff are very polite and accomodating.

Even though staff were very polite and accommodating, I think they don't communicate so well in English (especially the restaurant staff). They allowed you to run a tab of your bills, and the daily expenses from the kitchen is submitted to the front desk, and only will tally up the cost @ the end of the day. For that to happen, you have to be proactive and go to the front desk to check on it. One of my bills was more than X3 the actual cost --- someone did not add it up correctly. But the front desk clerk, Amor was kind enough to whited-out the error and updated the actual expense. I must give credit to the Hotel for allowing guess to run a tab for all incurred expenses (including Island hopping fee, which you did not pay to the banka boat capitan). He and his crew were exemplary --- warranted a decent tip, 20%). Island hopping tour is P1.5K (hotel rate) which is the going rate in town. From Caramoan town to the port to catch the bunker boat (Island Hopping) is 15 mins trike ride, which cost 4 of us total of P150 one way. Hotel made the arrangements for the bike. Upon arrival, Hotel sent out a van to pick us up @ Guijalo Port (which is about 15-20 mins ride). We called the hotel to pick us up, and it was supposed to be free. The driver charge us P120 (for 4 of us) --- there seemed to be a confusion with him and another guy (may be the agent that worked for the transportation company ) @ the port, which seemed to make the final call with the charge. We had folks in our grp who speak local dialect (Bicol) and still have problems with ambiguities. I guess, I need to get accustom to that here in PI (Philippines Islands). Over all, it was quite a memorable trip. Inland hopping covers 4 Islands (total time 8 hrs, which can be more and less extended without any issues/extra charge). Bicol Hospitality is quite exceptional and we all appreciated that very much.

The staff were attentive to our needs and responding to our queries on many topics such as day trips and places to eat, etc. Although the property is not close to the beach, they are in the center of the town where finding and buying stuff is easy to access. There are many actual mementos from various 'Survivors' that are on display - if one is interested to view them. Overall, we are satisfied with the prices, location and cleanliness and we'll recommend this property to friends.

We paid double for our accomodation . We book at Agoda then nang mag check out na kami siningil pa din kami sa room namin. Which we over look at the our billing statement. I thought na hindi pumasok ang payment namin tru agoda kaya nila kami bini-bill sa room accomodation. Then when we check our account , we found out na nabawas naman pala ung payment sa room accomodation. Dapat sa side ni West Pen kung ganun naman pala na nabayaran na sila sa room acomodation dapat hindi na kasama sa bill namin ang sa room accomodation para hindi nagkaroon ng mis undersanding sa billing, double billing ang nangyari. And as of now wala pa na taga sa West Peninsula ang komokontak sa amin. To address the issue. Mahirap sila tawagan. Kung mag book kayo tru agaoda or to other facility, kailangan icheck ninyo muna ang account ninyo if nabawas na sa account ninyo ang payment ninyo for accomodation. Lesson learned to us ,na check maigi ang ibi-bill sa inyo Kasi maski yung nasa reception area nila hindi alam kung bayad kaba or hindi pa. kaya hindi na kami babalik sa hotel na ito kasi mahirap makipag usap sa may ari .

Only place around with a pool.

We spent 2 nights here and explored Caramoan town as you can walk the whole town from the hotel it's that small. The hotel is small with about 18 rooms centered around a swimming pool and a dining area. The rooms were very simple so don't expect things like hair dryers etc, but the rooms were clean and the service was good. The only problem this hotel really has is the food service. It generally took about an hour to get our order, so don't wait till your hungry to order.

    The Pool,

My stay was ok I had booked for 3 nights but 2 nights would have been sufficient. The hotel was hard to find hidden in a small alleyway with very little directional signage. True enough ony 2 villas were occupied! The FD said some villas were for renovation. The breakfast is just ok, the dangit was delicious but made my lips really itchy. The toilet were dirty and toooooo tiny even for a filipino standard. Killed 2 cockroaches inside the room, lots of mosquitoes, no place to hang towels. If you will stay for more than a night they will not clean the room. Packed food for island trip is just ok. Will try other hotel next time.

    Just an okay hotel”

It was in the middle of town so you can walk and explore the area

When I booked , I booked a family room specifying 5 adults with an extra bed. It turned out to be the size of a regular room with 2 extra beds so it was really cramped so I had to book anothe room which was the last room they had available . So that was an expense I did not anticipate. Food was only so so and even if we ordered way ahead , it's still took them some time to get it ready. On our first night after coming back island hopping one of the staff told me that there was going to be a party and they apologize for the noise it might make. It was quite noisy until almost midnight . They should think of maybe relocAting their entertainment section from the center of the resort just outside the rooms to somewhere near the back or even keep it enclosed so party can go on without disturbing other guests of the hotel.
