Best location in Bangkok city center; best value for money”
Pros: - Booked the room on a discounted rate - Location is in Sukhumvit, the best neighborhood in Bangkok. Close to everything: MRT and BTS (around 10-15mins walk) for public transpo, Terminal 21 for shopping, restos and cafes, 7/11 or Family Mart convenience stores, spa, and more - Room is spacious enough for 2 pax - Has elevator - The hotel sells tasty mango sticky rice for 60baht (could be cheaper, but it tastes good) - Cafe downstairs (named Artis) serve great coffee and desserts (love the caramel macchiato!) - They clean the rooms and provide new towels daily - They provide shampoo and soap - They provide water daily (hope they can find a more sustainable option in the future, too much water bottles distributed) - They have a mini fridge Con/s: - The lighting, only one is available; they could put a lamp especially when guests prefer to have night light - Since it’s close to the train, sometimes you can feel the ground or building moving (not on an alarming rate) - The bathroom lighting and ventilation - The air conditioning is either too warm or too cold; has problems with the setting/remote

Lay over in Bangkok ”
I really like this hotel in that it's located right the end of Soi 18 and close to everything. The room was very clean. and the bed was amazingly comfortable. As for the staff well they were great when I arrived they got me in to a room asap so I didn't have to wait until 2 pm to check in. And the cleaning staff was very friendly, If there was 1 thing that I could suggest is to make sure that once in a month to do all the High dusting in that there were a few "dust balls" hanging from the ceiling and in the bathroom fan.. Comfortable Bed and Great Location”
The room was huge and had a comfortable king sized bed. They don't do housekeeping everyday, and it has to be requested. I saw a cockroach in the hallway on the second night of our stay but that was all. Overall cleanliness was rather good actually. I booked a room with a window and it was facing the main road so it was quite noisy at night. The hotel is near Asoke BTS station (about 15-20 mins casual walking) and right opposite the station is Terminal 21 mall where they have a lot of different shops and boutiques which may be a bit on the middle to upper class side. Right next to the hotel is a Family Mart which is really great as we don't have to lug around huge bottles of water back to the hotel (or if you wanna have cup noodles for supper!). If I have the chance to visit Bangkok again, this would be my first choice of stay.

This is the 4th times I stayed at White House Asoke hotel. The location is strategic, near to shopping mall, BTS & under ground train station. I can easily get public transport to go anywhere. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I will come back if I visit Bangkok.

Good price, bland hotel.”
Don't expect anything more than a decently clean room to sleep in. The lobby is literally the size of a closet, and from there the elevator takes you up to your room. Excellent location, but I wouldn't exactly say this place "tingles the senses". Use it as a crashpad at the end of the night.

This is my first time staying at this hotel. It is during the Christmas holidays so many places already booked and prices doubled. So I thought it was a bit expensive for a 3 star hotel. However the location is excellent. Café Artis is just below and a great place for coffee and sandwhich. The hotel staff was outstanding, friendly and very helpful. The room was basic but very clean. A nice place to stay for a night or two. Close to Asok BTS, MRT, shopping malls, restaurants and nightlife. Recommended.

Location to public transport”
Stayed there two nights on the top floor which was hot like living hell. The air condition managed once the light (and the connected fan) from the bathroom was switched off. The room had no window which is OK as it keeps the noise from the ever-busy Sukhumvit out. Pricing borderline for what it is; staff is lovely, room tiny, clean - operationally good. Might be back, maybe not ........

I’ve stayed here a handful of times; I always enjoy the walkable location to/from Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. Markets and places to eat all around. Staff is always nice and friendly. This time I arrived and had a room that was not pleasing to me, it just was older looking than the other rooms I stayed at here. So, I asked the lady at the counter ‘if I could change to a different room’. She allowed me to switch, which made my stay more comfortable. She also allowed ma a late check out — 1hr. This is a basic place, you’re really paying for the location. Though, everything else will be in working condition, rooms are a bit small here though.
