Great Location. However!!!!”
Hotel was in a beautiful location directly opposite beach. Check in was swift, reception staff very pleasant and gave all relevant information, room was nice with small balcony but no balcony furniture which was a shame as would have been nice to sit out on it. Down fall was communication between restaurant staff, few issues as to where we could sit outside and also as residents, there was 4 of us, we all had to order at least 9 euro each of food to have a drink, I feel as residents we shouldn't have needed to do this. Breakfast on 2nd morning was like something out of Faulty Towers, we waited 50minutes to get our cereal and then while eating cereal our cooked breakfast arrived, again this seemed to be due to lack of communication between staff. Would I stay again, probably would for the location

Good”
Nice enough hotel, and in a very nice beachfront location. However, the hotel itself is showing its age and is somewhat ‘dated’ and a little tired in its general exterior and interior appearance. Notwithstanding this, our stay was very good value.

Above average”
Hotel needs a complete overhaul, very dated and lamp in bedroom was filthy, very basic bathroom. Nicest part of the hotel was its location

Just ordinary, unfriendly staff ”
Feel unpleasant experience when having breakfast in the hotel. Unfriendly staff, without smiling and one of the catering staff was talking to me in a quite rude way. Overall it's not a very good experience for me. Can hear people talking outside of the room. Heater is not on at night. Water kettle is disgusting with unknown dirty.

Awful Place”
For €122 I got a dated room with a nice sea view. The carpet is stained. The bathroom needs a good clean, especially the mould on the tiles. I had plenty of ants for company. Move a towel and there they are. Cobwebs everywhere too. I will not be back

Left at 3am”
Alarm went off three times in middle of the night-staff didn’t know how to deal with it and as a consequence we felt very uneasy about staying so packed up and left at 3am. Staff at reception inexperienced and place old and tired!

As expected”
We would always come back in Dublin. Portmarnock is a lovely village as Ireland is a lovely country. We just wanted a place to rest after a long walk in Dublin. And the hotel was nice as were the people that made our accommodation a memorable one. The buses come every 30 min but it cost us 3.3 p.p. each trip. We would have preferred to stay in the center but then how could we have seen such a view?!

Pleasant Stay”
Lovely hotel right on the sea front yet quiet and peaceful. Great value for money for somewhere so close to Dublin City centre.

Great view; super quiet bar on a Friday night”
This hotel was beautiful inside, great large room with balcony and super king size bed, large bathroom with separate shower, sofa and large T.V. - very clean and quiet. Oasis bar in the Hotel was super empty at 9pm on a Friday night in July ... we got taxi for 10 euro into Malahide, 5 minute drive from hotel, and went to a lively bar there as we would have just fallen asleep in the Oasis bar !!. There is a night club in the hotel but we never heard a thing and slept well on a very comfortable bed and pillows. Would stay here again.

Good”
Hotel could really do with a make over..very old fashioned and drab. Walls quite thin..we were waken by crying babies. at 8am...in several rooms, checked out at 10.30 am Sunday morning, did not go for breakfast. Portmarnock is a lovely spot..meal in Lalis resturant on sea front was really nice.

A good alternative”
The hotel was quiet, clean and well located in Portmarnock. It is a good alternative to the much smarter Portmarnock Hotel just down the road. A pleasant bar to pass time in after getting back from golf
