Advantages - The location is really good: 15 minutes walking to Old Town / 3 minutes to Warorot Market / 10 minutes to Night Bazaar / 10 minutes to Muang Mai Market. It's walkable except for Nimmanhaemin. - There are many good restaurants and cafes nearby: The dessert place directly across the street has been awarded Michelin for three consecutive years, and there are all kinds of restaurants and cafes around Ping Kang. - The room is bright and clean: This hotel has been fully remodeled recently. So everything is clean. The plastic wrap on the TV hasn’t even been removed yet. You can walk barefoot on the floor. There's not a single ant. It feels very bright and overall cheerful. Even the pillows are white. - Friendly staff: They are very kind and speak English well. - Safe: You need to swipe your card key at the hotel entrance to get in, so outside access is not possible. This provided peace of mind. Disadvantages - There is no table in the room: It’s disappointing that there’s no table to eat delivery food. - There is some noise: Being on the road, the sound of motorcycles can be quite loud at night. Earplugs are a must. - Warm water doesn’t come out well: The water pressure is really strong, but it feels a bit lukewarm compared to the pressure. It’s not cold water! - The bathroom cannot be ventilated: There’s no vent or window, so you have to leave the door open to dry off the moisture. This hotel has many more advantages than disadvantages, so if I come to Chiang Mai again, I will definitely use it again!
The location is not on the Central area but few minutes walk to Markets (plenty of shops for clothes, souvenirs, and snacks and both are ooen Day and Night. If you are In for those, i recommend this place as it is very convenient, just across the river. Can find cheap local food to enjoy as well. Also, there are few Western restaurants and some coffee shops if you want to take a break from local foods. The Hotel provided coffee/tea with biscuit. Clean and a nice boutique hotel with a very kind staff. They offer some Tours but wasn't able to book any as it was raining everyday. Do not forget to try the dessert (i can have it as breakfast) opposite the hotel. They are yummy.
Very new hotel, just opened for 2-3 months. It’s located close to Waroros Market, just a short walk across the pedestrian bridge, and you’re at the market. The bedroom is large, and the studio room is very beautiful, featuring a large wardrobe with plenty of storage drawers. The mattress is soft, the pillows are great, the air conditioning is cool, and the lighting in the room is beautiful. There’s coffee and snacks available at all times. The photo spots in the hotel are stunning, styled in a Moroccan theme. I recommend trying to stay here; you won’t be disappointed. The staff service is excellent, very polite, and cheerful. Across from the hotel is the famous restaurant "Khao Kriab Pak Moh Lung Khajorn" in Chiang Mai. Personally, I like staying at newly opened hotels. I have been on tours for many years and stayed in thousands of hotels. This place offers great value for the price. If you don’t try, you won’t know. I recommend staying here; the price is affordable, and the view for photos is impressive.
The price was incredibly low, probably because I booked it with a flight ticket. I wanted a room with two beds, so I reserved a special room, but it was still cheap. The staff were friendly and communicated in English. They also kindly helped me with booking tours. However, the shower and toilet were combined, and when using the shower, the floor gets wet, so my feet and the hem of my clothes get wet when going to the toilet. Additionally, the door was semi-transparent, which was a concern because you can see silhouettes of what’s happening inside, so I found it puzzling why they chose that door. The shower had hot water, but it leaked and didn't spray straight, causing the toilet and clothes I placed nearby to get wet as well, making it uncomfortable to use the shower and toilet.

We had a great experience staying at Yellow Lamoon Hotel in Chiang Mai. The hotel is conveniently located near popular attractions like Warorot Market and the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the amenities provided, such as complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer, were a nice touch. Although the hotel does not serve breakfast, they offer snacks like instant coffee and bread, which was a thoughtful addition. Overall, the combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and a prime location made my stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend Yellow Lamoon Hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially for its value and welcoming atmosphere.
